EuroMillions Number Generator

Five main numbers from 1 to 50 and two Lucky Stars from 1 to 12, drawn at random in your browser.

5 from 1-50, plus 2 Lucky Stars from 1-12

How the EuroMillions odds are built

A EuroMillions line has two parts, and they multiply. The five main numbers come from 1 to 50, which can be filled in 2,118,760 different ways. The two Lucky Stars come from a separate pool of 12, which allows 66 different pairs. Every main set can go with every pair, so there are 2,118,760 × 66 = 139,838,160 distinct tickets.

Main numbers51 to 502,118,760
Lucky Stars21 to 1266
Whole ticket139,838,160

Only one of those tickets matches the whole draw, which puts the jackpot odds at 1 in 139,838,160. The Lucky Stars do more of the multiplying than their small range suggests: getting all five main numbers right is 1 in 2,118,760, and the stars make the full match 66 times harder still.

What a random line changes

It does not change the odds. A quick pick is one of the 139,838,160 tickets, exactly like a line you chose. What it changes is how many other players are likely to hold the same numbers. Lines built from birthdays and anniversaries can only use 1 to 31, which leaves 19 of the 50 main numbers, 32 to 50, out entirely. A random EuroMillions line stays inside 1 to 31 only 8.0% of the time, so it rarely looks like a line of dates, and if it ever won, it would be less likely to share the prize with people who picked dates.

The Lucky Stars sit outside that effect. All twelve are possible days of the month, and possible months too, so a date-based pick can land on any of them and a random pair avoids nothing in particular.

Where the randomness comes from

This tool runs entirely in your browser, using its built in cryptographic random number generator. Nothing you type is sent to us, nothing is stored, and each result is thrown away the moment you leave the page. Numbers are drawn without the rounding bias that the usual shortcut introduces, so every outcome is as likely as every other.

Because nothing is recorded, a result here proves nothing to anyone afterwards. If you need a drawing that other people have to accept, for a prize, a campaign or an audit, use Winner Picker, which publishes each result on a permanent link with a signed record anyone can check.
